His studies concluded with a production of In and Out of Knowing, a new musical written and directed by Nick with music and lyrics by George Parris. The story follows one man whose dementia is rapidly progressing and affecting his relationships with his loved ones.
Nick studied a Bachelors Degree in Music and Drama at the University of Manchester, for which he obtained a First Class Honours, and a commendation of excellence for the Meera Syal Award for Outstanding Practical Work for his directing project, 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore' by Martin McDonagh. In spring 2021, Nick worked as an Administrative Assistant on the Coventry Moves project for Coventry UK City of Culture. Working closely with Stage Management and the Community Engagement and Participation Manager, he coordinated the involvement of community participants in the event.
Nick has a passion for creating accessible theatre that challenges the distinctions between opera, musical theatre and other forms of music drama.
